Job Overview
Great Sky seeks an ambitious, entrepreneurial individual to help build our company operations and business development. This role will involve working closely with the CEO on many aspects of company operation. The role will involve outreach and CRM, honing messaging, creation of materials for communication, and market analysis. This role will also include building and supporting relationships with our foundry partners and negotiations with various materials suppliers. Other aspects of the role involve building internal practices of tracking team progress, managing Great Sky projects, and company strategic planning. Responsibilities will also reach into finance, fundraising, and legal matters. This will be a fast-paced, active role touching on all aspects of building a startup. It won’t be easy, but we will change the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Working directly with CEO on many aspects of company execution
- Significant involvement in customer relationship management
- Working with entire company on project management
- Financial forecasting, budgeting, and contributing to fundraising
- Communications, including slide decks, documents for stakeholders, website maintenance, and social media
- Legal matters and human resources
- Daily operations including purchasing, shipping, interfacing with property management
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Excellent communication, both written and oral
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of budget management
- Willingness to travel
- Bachelor’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, or computer science
- 2+ years of professional experience
Preferred:
- Early stage startup experience
- MBA
- Experience in management consulting
