Delta Health is seeking a dynamic, community-minded professional to serve as our Community Liaison under the Rural Hospital Stabilization Program (RHSP). The Community Liaison is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with community members, local organizations, and public agencies. This position serves as the public-facing connector between Delta Health and Delta County—listening, informing, and engaging in ways that align with our mission to provide remarkable care in a healing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with community leaders, business owners, and residents
- Represent Delta Health at public events, meetings, and outreach programs
- Promote Delta Health’s services, resources, and initiatives to the public
- Collect and share community feedback with hospital leadership
- Design and schedule engaging content for both digital and print platforms
- Manage social media content, analytics, and reporting
- Support video storytelling through planning, filming, and editing
- Write, edit, and design Delta Health’s internal employee newsletter
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director on outreach campaigns and event planning
- Maintain accurate records of community engagement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Social Work, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in community outreach, engagement, or marketing (healthcare preferred)
- Experience with public speaking and project coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with publishing and design software
- Knowledge of social media platforms, digital storytelling, and content creation
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with and respected within the local community is a strong plus
- Self-starter who thrives independently and in team settings
- Passion for improving health outcomes and supporting rural healthcare
