Communications Manager

The Communications Manager must be creative and enjoy working within a small, fast-paced environment that is mission and results driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Communications Manager will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. The Communications Manager is responsible for managing all communications plan activities and building external relationships with the community’s constituencies; coordinating community outreach including event planning and administering information technology services.

Sr. Communications Specialist

The Senior Communications Specialist will report to and support Breckenridge’s Senior Communications Manager, as well as support Keystone’s Communications Manager, to protect and promote the resort brands. In addition to knowing the Breckenridge and Keystone brands, this position will need to have an understanding of Vail Resorts as a whole to drive high-funnel earned media placements for our portfolio of world-class mountain resorts.

Director of Marketing Communications

Western Colorado University invites applications for the position of Director of Marketing Communications. This is an exempt, full-time, 12-month position. The Director of Marketing Communications a senior-level position in the Marketing and Enrollment Division and directs the development, management and deployment of institutional marketing communications. The Director will manage a marketing communications staff of content and design professionals and will work collaboratively with individuals and organizations for all Western programs and initiatives to achieve divisional and institutional short- and long-term goals tied to student, academic, partnership and operational success.

Director of Marketing – Copper Mountain

Provide leadership, strategic and tactical direction for the Copper brand and marketing initiatives. Responsible for the creation and implementation of Copper’s long and short-term public relations, youth, lodging, ticket Colorado, national and onsite strategies, tactics and budgets. This includes success in the revenue generation areas of room nights, skier visits and overall revenue per visit. Responsible for the maintenance of the Copper brand to include design of all advertising and collateral materials as well as implementation of new product offerings. Participate in the creation of the pre-sold strategy to achieve Copper Season Pass and Four Pack sales revenue targets as well as working with Alterra to reach IKON targets. Oversees the PR department, CopperColorado.com, Copper’s social media initiatives, on-resort branding, email & direct mails campaigns and Summit County Marketing.

Public Information Coordinator

The Grand Junction Police Department is seeking a Public Information Coordinator with excellent public speaking skills and a strong knowledge of various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. This position will be subject to call outs for major incidents and may work remotely on media/social media issues as necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong design/promotion skills that will be used to promote the department and help improve recruiting efforts locally and regionally.
