Scope: This is not a scheduling role. This is a creative-first role for a wordsmith and narrative thinker who can turn ideas into shareable, emotionally rich content — fast.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation + Writing
• Write original captions, scripts, and storytelling content for social media, reels, podcasts, emails and video. Taking concepts from ideas to the teleprompter.
• Film daily Instagram Stories and regular reels – capturing and posting behind-the-scenes content in real time.
• Lead content ideation for campaigns, cultural moments, new product drops or leadership resources.
• Ensure all public-facing content reflects MomCo’s brand voice – warm, unexpected, bold, Jesus-centered and never cliche.
• Develop seasonal messaging toolkits for internal and external use.
Creative Collaboration
• Collaborate with video, design and social teams to ensure copy aligns with visual storytelling.
• Write to video footage, develop scripts from concepts, and ghost write as needed.
• Support storyboarding and creative direction for storytelling projects.
• Monitor culture, trends and digital language shifts and incorporate insight into content strategy.
• Bring fresh ideas and inspiration daily.
Job Qualifications
• 4-7 years of experience in copywriting, creative storytelling, journalism or brand content.
• Expert-level writing skills across short and long-form (social, email, video, scripts, etc).
• Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates voice adaptability, emotional intelligence and conceptual storytelling.
• Deep familiarity with Instagram/TikTok storytelling language and emerging formats.
• A collaborative spirit and fun-loving attitude—you're the team player everyone wants in the room (or the group chat)
• You’re trustworthy with sensitive information — you know when something is still behind-the-scenes, in development, or under wraps, and you treat it that way.
• Follower of Jesus and able to faithfully sign and uphold the MomCo Faith and Values Statement
Bonus Points if You:
• Are comfortable creating assets like reels, behind-the-scenes footage, and short-form video
• Have worked in nonprofit, mission-driven, or faith-based environments
• Know how to adapt tone and voice by platform, while keeping a cohesive brand feel

• Pay range $25 to $27 per hour depending on experience
