About the Role
We’re looking for a warm, organized, and people-first Director, Hospitality & Operations to be the soul of our space and the engine behind its daily excellence. This role combines white-glove hospitality, operational precision, and community leadership to ensure that every member feels seen, supported, and excited to belong.
You’ll manage all aspects of member experience, event programming, space operations, and team coordination — becoming the person members trust and love to see each day. From onboarding new members to executing unforgettable events and keeping the space humming, you’ll be at the core of what makes TARRA special.

Proactively foster connection among members to build a sense of belonging and community pride.
-
Lead with empathy, warmth, and a high bar for service in every interaction.
-
Train and manage part-time front desk staff to reflect the same hospitality-focused standards.

Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day member and guest communications via our member portal and TARRA email.

Oversee all vendor and contractor relationships (cleaning, maintenance, repairs) to ensure the space runs smoothly.
-
Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure the space is always member-ready—clean, organized, well-stocked, and on-brand.
-
Troubleshoot basic tech issues (Wi-Fi, door access, AV) and escalate as needed.
Event Programming & Execution
-
After the Director of Events closes a deal, manage the client account and execute the event logistics, including vendor management, staffing, setup, and teardown.
-
Host events, and/or when appropriate, manage and train our event hosts to deliver exceptional experiences.
-
Design and execute a monthly calendar of engaging, diverse events — from workshops and panels to wellness and social gatherings.
-
Collaborate with the marketing team on promotion, signage, and email campaigns.
-
Track event performance (attendance, feedback, engagement) to refine future programming.
-
Build relationships with local creatives, speakers, and businesses to source new ideas and partnerships.
Culture & Team Collaboration
-
Partner with operations and marketing to ensure alignment across member experience touchpoints.
-
Contribute to shared team responsibilities including space coverage, opening/closing, event hosting, and general upkeep.

This position will cover (2) opening shifts (7:45 am to 4 pm) weekly
-
This position will cover (2) closing shifts (9 am to 5:15 pm) weekly
Ideal Candidate
-
4+ years in a hospitality, coworking, member experience, or operations role — ideally in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
-

-
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling many plates.
-
A gifted communicator with a warm, engaging presence and the ability to make others feel instantly at ease.
