Dental Lifeline Network (DLN) is seeking a dynamic Director of Corporate Giving to lead our national strategy for corporate engagement. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for securing and growing mission-aligned partnerships that support our critical work: providing access to life-changing dental care for people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile.
As part of the Development team and reporting to the Vice President of Development, you’ll drive strategy and execution to secure sponsorships, philanthropic support, in-kind donations, and employee engagement from companies nationwide—especially across the dental and healthcare sectors.
About the Role
The Director of Corporate Giving will lead all aspects of DLN’s corporate fundraising efforts, from pipeline development and prospecting through stewardship and partnership growth. You will build innovative sponsorship models, develop high-impact pitch materials, and work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional partner experiences. The role offers both strategic ownership and the autonomy to close high-impact partnerships, while also collaborating closely with a dedicated development team to advance DLN’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead DLN’s specific state and national corporate giving strategy in collaboration with the VP of Development.
- Build and manage a robust portfolio of corporate partners and prospects with a focus on key segments: dental manufacturers, DSOs, insurers, labs, and dental adjacent organizations.
- Create compelling partnership proposals aligned with DLN’s mission and corporate social responsibility goals.
- Develop and promote new giving models (e.g., Impact Partner program, campaign match sponsors) to broaden DLN’s sponsor toolkit.
- Lead planning and activation of DLN’s presence at high-value industry events and conferences.
- Ensure strong stewardship,performance tracking, and consistent communication with partners.
- Expand sponsor recognition through DLN’s communication channels, campaigns, and co-branded opportunities.
- Collaborate with VP of Development to engage DLN board members and leadership to leverage networks and amplify outreach.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate giving, sponsorships, or business development—preferably in healthcare, dental, or nonprofit sectors;
- Proven success in developing and closing significant corporate partnerships;
- Excellent communication, proposal development, and relationship management skills;
- Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and a track record of using CRM systems (DonorPerfect a plus);
- Authentic passion for DLN’s mission with a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset;
- Confident, self-directed, and highly motivated by results. Able to balance autonomy with cross-functional collaboration in a distributed work
environment.
