Summary
Description
Greenhouse Scholars is a diverse community of leaders using education to transform underserved communities in our backyard and around the world. We empower promising young students with the personal, professional, and financial resources they need to create lasting change in their own lives and the lives of others, regardless of circumstances.
We’re looking for:
As the ideal candidate, you are a high-performing, entrepreneurial, self-starter who is passionate about creating a positive impact. You have experience with some of the responsibilities outlined below and are eager to learn more and refine your skills. You love working as part of a team but are comfortable taking the initiative to get things done on your own.
Greenhouse Scholars interns must be available to work 20 hours per week. Hours in April and May will be balanced with the requirement to be onsite Friday, May 9, 2025 for our Colorado Fundraising event. The fall internship will be in person at our Boulder, CO office.
What we offer:
One of our core values is accountability. We are accountable to our interns the same way they are accountable to us. This is not an internship where you will be fetching coffee or doing data entry all day. It is our goal to provide value to you in the form of skills and experience that will help you in your chosen career. Sure, there will be some classic intern stuff on your to-do list, but much more of your time will be spent doing “real work.” Our interns are wholly responsible for their own projects and are trusted to work on those projects independently, sometimes with little oversight. We give you the opportunity to grow into the role, make it your own, and become an integral part of our team.
Greenhouse Scholars interns will receive a stipend of $1,000.
Event Management Support
The Experiences and Events intern will work alongside the Events and Marketing teams to plan and execute the organization's major fundraising events for the Spring season. You will have the opportunity to support a variety of our event planning projects and be responsible for tasks such as:

- Providing logistical and operational support leading up to the event and onsite (e.g., registration build out, floor plan design))

- Brainstorm high end auction items and secure items and securing auction items
- Conduct detailed research and analysis of competitive events
- Support event systems and processes by tracking timelines and deadlines

- This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-moving events and marketing team, learn and develop critical event-planning skills, and have a lot of fun in the process. A bonus is getting to support the event in-person and contribute to our annual Colorado fundraiser Glass Half Full, being held on Friday, May 9, 2025. We can’t wait to hear from you and see what you love about event planning!
To be considered for this internship, please submit a resume and cover letter detailing why you are a good candidate for this position.
