Time commitment: Minimum 8 hours/week

American Transplant Foundation Mission and Purpose
American Transplant Foundation is a dynamic, energetic, fast-paced nonprofit that works to increase the donation of organs and tissue to reduce the growing list of men, women, and children who are awaiting a lifesaving organ transplant. We are currently seeking a dynamic, self-starter to assist with the foundation's efforts. This internship is for an individual interested in learning more about the nonprofit field and getting professional work experience in your area of study/interest. An internship with the Foundation is a way to gain valuable professional work experience and references, learn a wide range of skill sets, and further a lifesaving mission.

Grant Research & Development Intern
Our Grant Research and Development Intern will gain experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant development through researching funding opportunities and supporting the grant application process. They will develop strong writing and analytical skills by assisting with proposal drafting, editing, and reviewing grant guidelines to identify opportunities that align with the Foundation’s mission. Finally, they will contribute to the strategic growth of the organization by helping track funding opportunities, supporting grant reporting, and collaborating with staff to highlight the impact of the American Transplant Foundation’s programs.
