Position Overview
We are seeking an established Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced, independent, and referral-driven, with an existing book of business and strong relationships in the real estate community. You’ll be responsible for originating and managing mortgage loans from start to finish, while actively engaging in DNVR events and fostering connections with clients, agents, and partners.
Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with clients, realtors, builders, developers, and referral partners (including insurance agents and title representatives).

Actively participate in DNVR community and educational events—attending yourself and/or bringing agents along.

Guide clients through the mortgage loan process with transparency, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.

Meet with potential and current clients to understand their needs and present customized mortgage solutions.

Prepare and process loan applications, review credit histories, and assess repayment capacity.

Ensure loan files meet all compliance and underwriting standards.

Stay current on industry trends, loan programs, and local real estate market developments.

Maintain strong working relationships with investors and account executives.

Consistently meet production goals with minimal supervision.
Qualifications

Established Loan Officer with a proven record of originating business.

Minimum 1–3 years of mortgage lending experience.

Strong referral network and existing realtor/partner relationships preferred.

Deep knowledge of FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and conventional loan products.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.

Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mortgage-related software.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
