We’re different. You are, too. Sentinel Colorado, a growing, proven media voice, is seeking a director of advertising and corporate sponsorship.

We're now a community-owned non-profit 501(C)(3) group, operating one the state's oldest and most respected newspaper and website.

We’re looking for a leader to help us innovate our print, digital, social media and event products.

We disdain the constraints of corporate group-think and instead reward originality and creativity. We need someone who is as passionate as we are in delivering the best that journalism has to offer across a variety of platforms, providing a voice for advertisers, sponsors and patrons to build their own success.

For more than 100 years old, The Sentinel has played an integral role in covering life in the Aurora and the Denver region. The Sentinel’s respected digital daily and print weekly reach a rapidly growing audience of more than 250,000 readers each week.

People like and respect you because you lead by example. Your job is to work with a team of equally committed professionals, help develop and implement strategy and be an integral part of the metro business and media community.

The person who gets the job understands deadlines and budgets, knows when to delegate and when to get it done, and appreciates the power of a quality CRM system that works for and not against the sales force.

As a member of the management team you will:

> Help develop overall company strategy, financial projections and implementation plans for core brands and new ventures.

> Identify and develop key strategic partnerships among media companies, major brands and advertising agencies, 

> Hire and manage a team of new business development professionals and support staff

​Qualifications: At least 2 years experience in media or related technology sales, philanthropic and sponsored content management.
