Media Advocacy Manager

Leads media advocacy efforts for assigned states and media markets, providing input into campaign planning, implementing tactics to support policy and revenue activities, driving relevance and enhancing ACS CAN brand recognition in support of local, state, and federal priorities. Provides a full range of media outreach including developing target media lists, and building relationships with key capitol press corps and health reporters. Drafts talking points, fact sheets, news releases/advisories as well as opinion editorial articles and letters to the editor. Secures editorial meetings and earned media placement by leveraging digital media skills and selling story ideas by phone and electronically to print, radio and TV newsrooms. Executes news conferences/media events and serves as media spokesperson. Provides media training for staff and volunteers.

Senior Principal Internal Communications Specialist

A Day in the Life
• Develop and execute strategic, measurable integrated, healthcare communications plans in partnership with communications colleagues across global markets and teams, including select product launches, issues management, clinical trials, Value-Based Healthcare, internal and external executive visibility, select disease awareness campaigns, and other critical events and special projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders to support effective communications
• Collaborate with communications colleagues across global, regional, and corporate communications as needed to support priority initiatives and special projects
• Uses expertise in internal relationship management to advise and influence those who wish to communicate and provides counsel and coaching to ensure communications are strategic and effective
• Create communications, including key messages, briefing materials, talking points, FAQs that protect, promote and advance Medtronic’s reputation
• Stay informed on changes and trends in the healthcare industry. Attend select industry meetings or tradeshows to advance healthcare industry understanding and share insights with broader team
• Incorporates new technology and techniques to communicate effectively

Assistant Director, Digital Philanthropy & Giving Campaigns

The Assistant Director, Digital Philanthropy and Giving Campaigns will manage an exciting contemporary strategy and slate of campaigns to inspire philanthropic support of the University of Denver mission and vision. The Assistant Director reports to the Director of Lead Marketing and Community Activation within the Creative Engagement team, a unit within the Global Networks function of University of Denver Advancement. As an integral member of the cross-functional Creative Engagement team, they are motivated to create exceptional digital philanthropy experiences for our global network of alumni, friends, parents and families, and campus community members. The campaigns they manage will have donor count and financial goals and include University-wide priorities as well as academic unit imperatives.


In this critical position, you will climb aboard the rocket ship that is Catapult Creative Labs, AIM’s internal marketing services agency. This position requires a blend of editorial, marketing, and digital savvy, as well as a collaborative style and proven ability to achieve results when synthesizing efforts from across several functional areas of the company.
