The International Program Coordinator is part of a team of qualified engineers and professional staff tasked with developing and implementing strategies (programmatic and financial) to advance EWB-USA’s mission and vision. This position will provide critical coordination, support, and management to our purposeful partnership model and volunteer engagement with international projects. 

Core Duties and Responsibilities

EWB-USA will be hiring two international program coordinators. Overall duties for the two coordinator positions are listed below; however, specific tasks and responsibilities will be divided between the positions.

  • International Community Program Team Support and Coordination:
    • Supports quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) for project data and reporting
    • Supports Community Partnership Applications process
    • Serves as primary contact for all general inquiries regarding ICP
    • Assists with organizational monitoring and evaluation (data collection, analysis, reporting, impact story development, data clean-up)
    • Participates in internal and external committees
    • Coordinators chapter eligibility process and tracking
    • Supports article and resource development, including support for cultural awareness and competency resources
    • Provides content and support for website updates, social media, and other outlets in alignment with the Communications Team
  • Volunteer and Chapter Engagement: 
    • Supports expert volunteer engagement efforts
      • Serves as staff support for at least two Standing Content Committees (SCCs)
      • Actively engages in mentor and ICP reviewer recruitment, retention, matching, tracking, and training
    • Coordinates with Volunteer Engagement team and Program Engineers to support chapters with various activities including, but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, engagement, resource development, training, chapter structure resources, problem solving, communication and coordination with chapters that are struggling.
    • Supports volunteer project teams throughout the project process
  • Grant Prospecting and Management / Fundraising Support:
    • Provides fundraising support and resources for volunteers/chapters
    • Supports grant prospecting and monitoring of grants 
  • International Partner Support:
    • Supports capacity-strengthening activities with purposeful partners around the world.
    • Supports administrative tasks for partners

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, especially in International Development, Humanitarian Studies, Social Sciences, Business/Non-profit Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the nonprofit and/or international development sector
  • Ability to process and analyze data

Desired Skills and Attributes

  • Experience with data visualization
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Salesforce
  • EWB-USA volunteer experience
  • Spanish language proficiency
  • Passion for EWB-USA’s mission and vision

Physical Demands and Work Environment (with or without accommodation)

  • Ability to sit or stand at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to participate in virtual meetings
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, rarely up to 50 lbs.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 10% domestic travel, potential international travel

Location

  • Preference may be given to Denver-based applicants. Flexible location options may be considered for the following states (CA, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KA, MA, MN, MI, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, RI, TN, UT, WA, WI). Occasional travel to Denver may be required.

Compensation & Benefits  

Hiring Range: $60,000-65000
