Join our team at The Ranch Events Complex as we seek a motivated individual to step into the role of Mid-Level Strategic Communications Coordinator!
The Mid-Level Strategic Communications Coordinator will support the development and implementation of communication strategies for advancing The Ranch Events Complex Master Plan. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging and engagement. The coordinator will also assist in scheduling meetings, taking notes, and managing communications logistics.
The typical schedule for this position is 8 hours per day, with a duration of 3 years. Meetings outside regular work hours and travel may be required

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Developing and assisting in the implementation of communication strategies that align with Master Plan objectives.
- Collaborating with management to establish communication goals and tailor messaging for target audiences.
- Identifying and utilizing appropriate communication channels to effectively reach diverse groups.
- Customizing messaging for specific audiences using the most effective communication methods.
- Defining and tracking metrics to measure the success of communication strategies.
- Producing and managing content for the Master Plan webpage, monthly newsletters, and press releases.
- Ensuring brand consistency across all communication materials.
- Managing and distributing the Master Plan newsletter and related communications.

Qualifications

- Two (2) years of experience working with design programs, such as Indesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop required.
- Three (3) years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required. Related education or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
- Possess reliable transportation to be able to work in any County facility and around the community as needed and required.
