Under the general direction provided by the Community Services Director, incumbent provides
communications, public relations and marketing services for the Department using a wide variety of communication strategies to promote, inform and engage the community in designated programs, projects, services and initiatives. Coordinate implementation of the Department’s marketing strategic plan in conjunction with other division marketing staff, optimizing resources, communication and marketing activities for the benefit of the Department and its divisions. Develop a variety of communication and marketing materials including press releases, newsletters, brochures, ads, customer communications, web pages, posters, social media posts across multiple platforms, e-newsletters, and more. Support and coordinate with existing staff in updating social media, web pages, print media, and video messaging.
