Public Policy Manager – Cheyenne

The Public Policy Manager directs and manages federal, state and local governmental affairs and advocacy efforts in Wyoming. The Manager will promote the mission of the organization by building and mobilizing grassroots advocacy; interacting with policy makers, committees, and coalitions; and communicating the Association’s issues and public policy priorities. This position is located in the Wyoming chapter office in Cheyenne, WY.

Through collaboration that transcends organizational lines, UA Engagement’s four distinct and mutually supporting units – CSU Events, Donor Relations & Stewardship, Presidential Engagement and University Advancement Communications – establish CSU as a destination for philanthropy through exceptional engagement, experiences and communications.
The University Advancement Engagement Coordinator plays an essential role in creating first impressions for a wide variety of university donors and constituents, including high-level donors and University Leaders. The coordinator participates as an active member of the University Advancement Engagement team, supporting each of the units, including CSU Events, Donor Relations & Stewardship, Presidential Engagement and University Advancement Communications. This includes project coordination, individual unit logistics management as well as supporting the collective engagement team to contribute to the department’s success and enhance engagement of constituents. This position plays a critical role in delivering efficient processes and tools that bring value to CSU’s Advancement community by working collaboratively with centralized and decentralized fundraising teams.
