The Division of University Advancement is integral to achieving and sustaining institutional excellence through fundraising and engagement efforts. The Division has one of the leading development teams in the country and places a strong emphasis on professional and personal growth for its employees, including educational opportunities, onboarding and mentoring programs.
University Advancement Engagement is fundamental to the success of CSU’s fundraising and engagement efforts, providing overall strategy and tactical execution in the areas of constituent experience, donor recognition, gift stewardship, philanthropic communications and University-wide, advancement and presidential events. Through collaboration that transcends organizational lines, UA Engagement’s four distinct and mutually supporting units – CSU Events, Donor Relations & Stewardship, Presidential Engagement and University Advancement Communications – establish CSU as a destination for philanthropy through exceptional engagement, experiences and communications.
The University Advancement Engagement Coordinator plays an essential role in creating first impressions for a wide variety of university donors and constituents, including high-level donors and University Leaders. The coordinator participates as an active member of the University Advancement Engagement team, supporting each of the units, including CSU Events, Donor Relations & Stewardship, Presidential Engagement and University Advancement Communications. This includes project coordination, individual unit logistics management as well as supporting the collective engagement team to contribute to the department’s success and enhance engagement of constituents. This position plays a critical role in delivering efficient processes and tools that bring value to CSU’s Advancement community by working collaboratively with centralized and decentralized fundraising teams.
