Director of Marketing and Communications

The College of Business at Colorado State University is seeking a Director of Marketing and Communications who will lead efforts to tell the College’s story in an accurate, authentic, and convincing manner. This position and the marketing and communication team play a critical and central role in driving enrollment for undergraduate, graduate and enterprise programs. In tandem with planning, developing, and implementing an integrated marketing communications strategy, the Director will lead a talented staff in enhancing the College’s visibility/national reputation and conveying the distinctive character to diverse constituents. This position supervises and oversees a staff of seven experts in the areas of account management, copywriting, design, web content management, UI/UX, photography, and video. It is also noteworthy that the Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for building and articulating the College’s national brand, visibility, and online presence, including its website, social, and other digital media. Furthermore, the Director is responsible for analyzing market trends, return on media spend, and research findings that inform the College’s marketing communications strategy. The Director reports to the Dean, works collaboratively with the College’s leadership, and serves as a member of the College’s Executive Committee.

Social Media Specialist

The Social Media Specialist will concentrate on supporting key social media and public relations initiatives for the LifeProof brand. This employee will use their knowledge, tools and creativity to communicate in the right place, at the right time and with brand consistency.

General Manager

The KRFC General Manager is a full-time position that oversees all aspects of the operation of a nonprofit community radio station in Fort Collins, Colorado. The General Manager is the “public face” of KRFC and provides leadership by administering the budget and finances, supervising staff, overseeing public relations, maintaining and enhancing stakeholder and community partnerships, fostering collaborations with other public radio stations, cultivating and stewarding station donors, and ensuring that legal and regulatory requirements are met. In addition, the GM is expected to move KRFC forward in all aspects of new media so that the organization can offer broadcast services to a wide variety of listeners through diverse broadcast media (online streaming, apps, podcasts, social media, website, and related technologies). The General Manager reports to the KRFC Board of Directors.
