Community and Event Sales Associate

Location: Hybrid (4 days in-office; 1 day work remote/on the road)

Ideal Start Date: July 2, 2025

Salary Range: $55,000 – 65,000 + Commission

About the Position

As the Community and Events Sales Associate you will lead the strategy, sales, and execution of both private venue rentals and in-house member programming, playing a pivotal role at the intersection of hospitality, sales, and community-building.

Event Sales and Management (60% of estimated workload)

  • Drive and manage the full sales cycle for external event clients, from initial inquiry to contract close

  • Deliver on budgeted sales goals for event sales, including oversight of event-specific budgets and financial reporting

  • Promote and sell venue space to internal members for private events, celebrations, and gatherings

  • Maintain a dynamic pipeline of leads through outreach, tours, and CRM follow-ups

  • Coordinate all event logistics including vendor management, staffing, and day-of execution

  • Manage event budgets, including vendor contracts, programming costs, and ROI analysis

Member Event Strategy and Execution (30% of estimated workload)

  • Plan and execute a monthly calendar of creative, engaging events for members (e.g., workshops, socials, fitness, cultural programming)

  • Develop marketing strategies and promotional assets to drive attendance and awareness

  • Coordinate all event logistics including vendor management, staffing, and day-of execution

  • Manage event budgets, including vendor contracts, programming costs, and ROI analysis

  • Capture and analyze performance metrics (attendance, engagement, satisfaction) to inform future planning

  • Cultivate relationships with local businesses, nonprofits, and event planners to generate consistent bookings and partnerships

Teamwork and Operations Support (10% of estimated workload)

  • This role requires the individual to be collaborative and supportive, approaching colleagues with a pleasant, can-do attitude that contributes to an inclusive culture and a positive work environment.

  • Alongside the General Manager, manage the hosting calendar to ensure coverage for events. Host events as outlined by the hosting calendar.

  • Opening and closing duties are shared among the TARRA team. This role would be responsible for opening and/or closing the space as scheduled by the General Manager.

  • This position will cover (1) opening shift (7:45 am to 4 pm) weekly

  • This position will cover (1) closing shift (9 am to 5:15 pm) weekly 

  • Cleaning schedules and maintenance are shared among the TARRA team and will be managed and assigned by the General Manager.

Experience and Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality, or community management

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue goals in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.  

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail

  • A natural connector who thrives on building relationships and delivering high-touch experiences

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, communicates openly, and values the contributions of others

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, email marketing tools, and basic event budgeting

  • Passion for our entrepreneurial community

  • Interest in working independently 

  • High-level ethics, empathy, and dependability

  • Legally authorized to work in Colorado
