CLIMB WITH US. Denver Summit FC is Colorado’s professional women’s soccer club, proudly holding the distinction of being the National Women’s Soccer League’s (NWSL) 16th franchise. Our unwavering mission is to cultivate the preeminent professional soccer club globally, achieved through deep and meaningful engagement with Denver’s dynamic and multifaceted communities. The Denver Summit FC team, set to begin play in the 2026 season, is comprised of a robust and dedicated ownership group led by Rob Cohen, alongside a collective of impassioned local and national investors. This blend of local roots and broad support underscores our dedication to both Colorado and the wider soccer community.

Nature Of Work

The Community Impact Coordinator is responsible for fostering authentic, mission-driven relationships with local non-profit organizations, youth programs, schools, and community groups. This position will play a vital role in developing, coordinating, and executing programs that expand access to soccer to all, create equitable opportunities for women to lead, and ensure that Denver Summit FC is an inclusive and engaged community partner.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Support the planning and execution of community impact programs – including clinics, school visits, non-profit partnerships, etc.
  • Act as an on-site resource for community events
  • Serve as a key liaison to community organizations, schools, youth programs, and advocacy groups.
  • Maintain relationships with community partners via match day activities, meet & greets, donations, and Summit FC match ticket requests.
  • Track, evaluate, and report on impact metrics for all community programs to measure success and inform future strategy.
  • Assist in organizing and staffing game-day community activations and programming.
  • Maintain an internal calendar of community events and team outreach commitments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, PR, ticketing, and partnerships teams to amplify nonprofit partnerships and community stories.
  • Ensure all programs are inclusive, culturally competent, and mission-aligned.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

  • Typical Office Conditions
  • May require lifting 50 lbs. for event set up, breakdown, and storage
  • Work in extreme weather conditions
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by the NWSL schedule and club events.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years’ experience in community relations, nonprofit work, public affairs or other related fields.
  • A commitment to equity, inclusion, and social impact.
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant asset.
  • Experience in a sports organization.

Compensation
 

  • Base hourly range $23-$25 per hour
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
