Summary

Cherry Creek North is seeking a Marketing Manager to grow district visibility and visitation by leading all aspects of destination marketing and signature events. The role cultivates partnerships with hotels, attractions, businesses, and third-party producers. This position will also guide planning and performance measures that result in high-impact experiences to increase visitor engagement and economic activity.

Collaborating cross-functionally, the role creates experiential opportunities, elevates the visitor experience, and shares results through concise, compelling reports and presentations.  We are seeking an individual that is organized, analytical, and relationship-driven, who also enjoys building programs that create memorable moments and strengthens partnerships, while expanding the district’s year-round vitality and visibility.

Core Areas of Responsibility

  • Destination Marketing & Partnerships
  • Experience in marketing, tourism/destination marketing, events, partnerships, research/analytics, or a related field.
    • Hotel Collective management including research, innovation, and partnership development.
    • Public relations collaboration in support of tourism and district priorities.
    • Creates innovative opportunities that drive local, regional and national visits to the district.
    • Oversight of tourism website content and performance in collaboration with internal and external partners.
    • Analyze tourism-related data to identify trends, opportunities, and program impacts.
  • Research & Insights
    • Develop, manage, and synthesize insights from key research and data partners including Visit Denver, Denver Metro Chamber and others
    • Build repeatable systems for gathering and reporting first-party and campaign data (website/social analytics, advertising and PR reports, hotel business reporting).
  • Signature Events
    • Serve as the primary liaison with third-party event producers with planning oversight and post-event reporting related to signature events.
  • Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain external relationships with key attractions and develop partnership opportunities that support the Hotel Collective as well as the district.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications or related field
  • Proven success with strategic and tactical events and community marketing, brand management and digital experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Placer.ai and more.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills; strong problem-solving abilities; creativity and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills will be imperative

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with business improvement districts, downtown organizations, chambers, or similar community-based entities.
  • Experience overseeing public relations or working with PR agencies.
  • Experience managing multiple clients in an agency environment
