About The Logan School
The Logan School (Logan) is an Association of Colorado Independent Schools (ACIS) -accredited institution that promotes the curiosities of gifted children with an approach that is as unique and individual as the children who make up the Logan community. Logan serves approximately 250 students in grades K-8 on a 13-acre campus. Here, students develop their individualized units of study, allowing personal passions and interests to drive the development of academic skills and deep critical thinking. Faculty, in partnership with families, guide students through their learning journeys and infuse Logan’s values and commitment to building an inclusive community throughout the campus.
Position Overview
The Development Associate is a full-time, 12-month position that supports the school’s fundraising, donor engagement, and community-building efforts. This role partners closely with the Director of Development and Community to help advance a strong culture of philanthropy across the Logan community. Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required in support of events and development activities.
Responsibilities

Partner with the Director of Development and Community to support donor development and cultivation efforts

Support volunteers and committees of the school, including scheduling meetings, sending reminders, and taking meeting minutes

Maintain donor and gift records within the school’s database and generate donor acknowledgements, reports, and related correspondence

Coordinate and provide event support for fundraising and community events

Attend community events to support the culture of philanthropy at the school

Conduct prospect and grant research and assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals

Create and support development-related communications materials, including videos, campaign collateral, and event communications

Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development and Community or Executive Director
Status
This is a full-time (12-month), non-exempt position that spans the school year. The salary is paid in 12 equal installments from July through June, and this position receives full benefits.
Direct Supervisor
The Development Associate reports to the Director of Development and Community
Hours

The Logan School work day is 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday and an on-site position.

Required attendance at staff meetings that run typically until 5 pm

Occasional evening/weekend hours required for all school events
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Exceptional attention to detail
-
Demonstrated customer service and relationship building capabilities

Ability to adhere to deadlines and work under pressure

Possess working knowledge of with Microsoft Office Suite, Mac OS and Google Suite

Experience and comfort managing donor databases ; knowledge of Blackbaud Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
-
Ability to pass a background check
Compensation
The Logan School offers a salary range between $48,000- $60,000. Salary consideration is given for seniority, merit, quality, education, and experience.
