The Communications Associate supports the marketing, development, and artistic departments by creating cohesive and compelling content that drives deeper engagement with the community, increased ticket sales and event attendance, and grows the philanthropic base of support for Central City Opera.

The Special Events Manager will work in collaboration with the Director of Development, as well as CCO Guild and Board committees, to plan, manage, and execute a variety of events to generate philanthropic and volunteer support.

The Development Associate works closely with the Director of Development and other team members to execute the company’s fundraising, stewardship, and donor relations initiatives. This role manages the operations of the development department–including donor communication, benefit fulfillment, and pipeline growth–stewards a small portfolio of donors, assists with key CCO events and other fundraising activities and serves as liaison for the CCO Guild.
