Join the Integrated Marketing Campaigns (IMC) team to elevate the BAE Systems Space and Mission Systems (SMS) brand. We are seeking a data-driven marketer and organized project leader to synchronize branding and messaging across all channels, develop high-impact marketing materials, and optimize campaign performance.

The Strategic Operations (StratOps) Strategic Capabilities Unit, consists of Washington DC Operations, Marketing & Communications and Strategic Development. The StratOps team promotes and elevates the business within our markets, works with customers and industry to influence and drive growth and facilitate collaboration across the business enterprise to increase opportunities.

What You’ll Do:

  • A degree in PR, Marketing, Design, Journalism, English or related field preferred.
  • Campaign management: Develop, execute, and measure integrated marketing campaigns and external events in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Brand alignment: Partner with stakeholders to ensure all collateral and messaging align with strategic priorities and brand standards.
  • Operational leadership: Lead the IMC Smartsheet workflows by creating standardized templates, driving team adoption, and generating performance metrics.
  • Investments & memberships: Manage strategic utilization of the enterprise membership process in coordination with supporting the larger Marketing Investment budgeting process.
  • Website marketing: Support the SMS external web strategy to ensure alignment and content optimization across marketing and owned media channels
  • Content creation: Write and edit high-quality brochures, biographies, and digital assets.
  • Event coordination: Manage scheduling and logistics for speaking engagements and staff both internal and external company events.
  • Compliance: Maintain all records and reports in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 4 or more years related experience.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Demonstrated marketing campaign experience, including performing market research.
  • Advanced experience using metrics to deliver data-driven results.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with ability to translate technical information into strategic marketing messages.
  • Experience working under brand guidelines and with marketing products (writing, designing, and analyzing data).
  • Creative eye for design and branding, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite (particularly InDesign) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Project management skills, with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, under deadline pressure, and with fast turnarounds.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment and with technical subject matter experts.
  • Attention to detail, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with ability to quickly learn new skills, products, and technical knowledge.
  • Willingness to take initiative to understand company, products, capabilities, and markets, if not familiar with the industry.
  • Experience increasing brand awareness among key target audiences.
  • Experience working with marketing analytical tools and platforms.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $82779 – $140723

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
