The Career Success Coach supports the Teen Programs team in delivering high-quality internship and career exploration and learning experiences for high school participants at Girls Inc. of Metro Denver (GIMD). This role is responsible for developing successful internship partnerships with community organizations and companies, coordinating day-to-day teen program logistics, supporting career readiness programming, managing field trips and special events, and serving as a primary contact for girls, families and host site contacts. The Career Success Coach plays a critical role in ensuring seamless communication across all stakeholder groups, strong teen and family engagement, and a safe, engaging, and empowering environment for all teen participants.
Outreach Coordination (50%)
- Coordinate Key Partnerships based on the strategic plan and areas mapping to help increase enrollment in GIMD programming and expand into new areas. This includes coordination of community partners, school partnerships, and prospecting of new.
- Maintain a clear calendar of events and deadlines to help drive enrollment, recruitment and coordination for girls and families enrolled in the programs.
- Coordinate Family and Participant Engagement sessions to help inform ongoing community needs such as workshops, training, and programming.
- Coordinate, Support, and/or Lead (Goal: minimum 12 annually) workshops, pop-ups, and family forums, and actively support the planning and execution of the annual conference. Includes nights and weekends. Ensure that 80% of outreach events achieve their stated goal for attendance and lead generation.
- Coordinate pop-up events for girls and participants around the Denver Metro Area, bringing new programming opportunities to new communities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and enrollment at outreach partners, girl groups and school/community organizations’ contact lists and all outreach programming.
- Assist in the evaluation of the partnership matrix to ensure full partnership potential.
- Represent Girls Inc. of Metro Denver at Outreach events and programming needs that will promote all programs to attract and retain participants through school/community
partnerships. - Solicit feedback from participants to continually improve the programs.
- Coordinate with development and other departments to ensure cohesive and collaborative communication of girl activities and experiences.
Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and community partners. Program Educator (30%)
- Facilitate hands-on programs for participants in the Girl Group and health education outreach programming with a focus on middle and high school groups. Program sizes from small intimate groups to large group settings.
- Create a safe, supportive environment through effective classroom management, a pro-girl approach, and culturally responsive practices.
- Provide coaching and case management for girls, offering social-emotional support, direction, motivation, and behavior management.
- Coordinate and supervise participants during field trips and special events, including out-of-state travel and overnight college trips.
- Lead program coordination/support for Girl Groups and health education contractors.
Organizational Support (10%)
- Provide basic logistical support to the Center/Teen Programs team during high-volume periods or organization-wide events on an as-needed basis.
- Support GIMD programming as needed by providing driving route support.
- Assist with upkeep of shared spaces (ex: organize, clean, report repairs, etc.)
- Fully engage in trainings, team and staff meetings, and other learning activities.
- Maintain program budget, resources, and equipment for effective programming.
- Contribute to a Pro-Girl, positive working environment
- Perform other job functions as needed.
Summer Considerations:
- Coordinate all field trips, community connections, and van usage for Center and Teen Programs.
- Coordinate and facilitate weeklong camps in our identified expansion areas.

Education and Experience:
Education
- B.A. or B.S; in a related field preferred or equivalent of 4+ years of experience in related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering programming in the youth development field
Experience
- Experience facilitating youth programming for groups of at least 15 participants.
- Experience working with girls.
- Experience supporting youth through mentorship and educational settings.
- Experience with navigating relationships and partnerships. Experience working in positive youth development settings.
Additional Requirements:
- Possess a valid Colorado driver’s license, (or willingness to obtain one within a month of employment) with a driving record that allows employees to be covered by agency auto
insurance and drive agency vehicles (must be at least 22 years old) with at least 2 years of driving experience. - Access to a personal vehicle to travel to school/community sites in Metro Denver. Mileage reimbursement provided.
