Our Senior Proposal Managers are responsible for the following general activities:

• Directly support the opportunity team’s leadership to refine and integrate pursuit strategy/win themes in proposal documents.
• Provide heavy support to and/or take ownership of sections of major pursuits and strategic opportunities working in conjunction with senior sales staff.
• With no supervision, coordinate, write, edit/tailor, and perform research for non-technical proposal sections; ensure compliance; and proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate potential issues/variances.
• Lead kick-off meetings, color review meetings, and other milestone meetings, as appropriate.
• Participate in opportunity planning/Middle-Game activities.
• Work with the opportunity team’s leadership to suggest teaming partners/subconsultants and qualified Jacobs. staff during kick-off/strategy sessions and organization chart development.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, advocate, and actively follow SPSO procedures, policies, protocols, and best practices, including standard file management and archiving procedures, as well as branding guidelines.
• Lead and/or support planning and development of presentations and interviews.
• Understand company markets, partner/competitor/subconsultant firms, clients, and industry trends.
• May act as a group resource and trainer for sales best practices, policies, and procedures.
