Summary
Description
Do you have experience working with nonprofits? Are you passionate about making a huge difference with many different kinds of nonprofits at once? If so, ZIM Consulting is the place for you.
Who We Are – ZIM Consulting (ZIM) is a woman-owned, Denver-based, full-service consulting firm specializing in fundraising, strategic planning, and implementation services for nonprofit organizations. ZIM was founded in 2006 to address a key gap in the nonprofit industry. Many consultants focused on creating plans and many individual contractors provided short-term development services. However, there was a lack of highly skilled individuals who served as both consultants and contractors, creating plans, and then working closely with organizations to implement them. ZIM built a team with strategy and implementation skills and works closely with organizations to produce realistic plans and execute them. ZIM has helped 500 nonprofit clients raise more than $250 million to make the world a better place. In 2024, ZIM launched a new line of services under the name ZIM Nonprofit Recruiters (ZNR). ZNR and several of ZIM’s services are managed under a unified Strategy Team.
Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility – At ZIM, we value lifelong growth and learning, the well-being of our team, our clients, and the communities they serve, and the role nonprofits play in building a better world for all. We serve diverse clients and communities, and diverse voices, perspectives, and experiences strengthen our team. We are committed to cultivating an equitable and inclusive work environment and actively encourage people with lived experiences such as BIPOC individuals, LGBTQ+ community members, low-income individuals, people with disabilities, immigrants, and members of ethnic minorities to apply. We also value transparency and we would be remiss if we did not share that, like many organizations in the nonprofit sector, we are on a journey when it comes to our Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility efforts and education. Candidates for this position would be joining a team that is committed to reducing harm, and advancing justice and equity in our communities, in our own company, and the field of philanthropy.
Statement of Need – ZIM is actively seeking a dynamic Marketing and Strategy Team Associate to support the growth of our nonprofit services locally and nationally. This role is instrumental in expanding our client base through intentional marketing efforts and supporting our Strategy Team’s structures. This person will also support strategy service projects tailored to client needs. Excellent communication, collaboration, and client relationship-building skills are crucial to ensuring ZIM continues to fulfill its mission as a true partner for nonprofit clients.
As the Marketing and Strategy Team Associate, you will shape the long-term success of ZIM and ZNR by implementing annual goals, processes, and budgets for business development, marketing, and strategy services. Active participation in fortifying internal systems and fostering collaboration will be integral to your role, paving the way for enduring success and growth for ZIM's initiatives.
