We are seeking a Marketing Manager, Programs to execute the go-to-market strategy and marketing plans for AWWA programs, including international, remote learning, and engineering and technical services (ETS) programs.
This is not a 100% remote job. AWWA runs on a hybrid reporting schedule with at least 3 days in the Denver office and 2 days of remote reporting.
Essential Functions
- Uses qualitative and quantitative research methods to perform segmentation, target, position, and recommend the marketing matrix.
- Analyzes data, assesses market trends, conducts the content review, prepares reports, and makes essential business decisions that achieve strategic objectives of generating leads and driving revenue growth.
- Understand the nuanced audience and messaging needed to convey and grow AWWA programs, including international, remote learning, and ETS programs.
- Working with stakeholders, identifies cross-sell opportunities and then initiates campaigns with an eye toward measurable results.
- Supports the execution of a cohesive marketing strategy and campaign plans that drive revenue growth.
- Provides marketing strategy recommendations as needed in response to relevant data and feedback.
- Translates business needs into marketing programs with measurable results.
- Assures proper alignment for key activities with business objectives, develops messaging and assets, identifies lead gen opportunities and accesses reporting/metrics.
- Travels to industry trade shows to promote AWWA programs, up to 10%.
- Manages and adheres to budgets.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education, Certifications or Formal Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years marketing support experience.
- Proven ability to synthesize data and other types of information to write engaging, clear and concise content and messaging.
- Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience in 360 marketing, including email marketing, social media marketing, website optimization, video, and traditional marketing tactics.
Compensation/Benefits:
Pay is dependent upon qualifications; Pay range is targeted between $76,190 – $87,075 per year and is paired with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
