Description

This position plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of HomeAhead, helping ensure that furniture donations, deliveries, and removal services run smoothly. The role combines approximately 60% physical work, 30% operations and customer service, and 10% marketing and community engagement. The physical portion of the job includes loading, lifting, and moving furniture, assisting with pickups and deliveries, organizing warehouse inventory, and helping ensure items are handled safely and efficiently. The operations component includes coordinating logistics with team members, communicating with donors and clients, supporting scheduling, and helping keep basic operational systems organized. Computer skills are important for tracking inventory, updating records, and communicating with the team. A small portion of the role may involve documenting impact stories for social media or community outreach. The work is based primarily at our storage and operations sites in Boulder and Longmont. The position typically works Tuesday through Saturday between about 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with 20 to 40 hours per week depending on your skills and preferences as well as our organizational needs. This position does not currently include benefits.
