People Operations Coordinator
The Denver Broncos are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic People Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our People Operations function, with a primary focus on benefits administration, compliance, and HRIS/HCM system management. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of people programs and services, contributing to a positive employee experience.
Role Overview
The People Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting a wide range of HR functions, with a focus on benefits administration, compliance, and HCM system maintenance. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, resolving issues and providing guidance.
- Coordinate with benefits vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related transactions.
- Assist with benefits Open Enrollment process, including communication, materials preparation, and employee meetings.
- Ensure compliance with benefits regulations, including ACA, ERISA, and COBRA.
Compliance:
- Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support HR audits and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee files and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
HCM System Administration:
- Maintain and update employee data in the HCM system (Dayforce and Greenhouse).
- Process employee transactions, including new hires, changes, and terminations, in the HCM system.
- Generate reports from the HCM system to support HR processes and decision-making.
- Assist with HCM system upgrades and implementations.
- Troubleshoot HCM system issues and provide support to employees and managers.
Other People Operations Support:
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support employee communication and engagement initiatives.
- Assist with HR projects and programs as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the People Operations team.
Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations, with a focus on benefits administration, compliance, and HCM system administration.
· Strong knowledge of benefits administration, including enrollment, plan design, and compliance requirements.
· Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
· Experience with HCM systems and HRIS systems.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
· Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Dayforce and Greenhouse
· Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or other relevant certification.
· Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or dynamic environment

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role is $50,000 – $55,000. This position may require you to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays outside of a normal working hour as needed.
