The Colorado Rural Health Center (CRHC) is seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist with the passion and skills to deliver high quality coaching and technical assistance to rural healthcare facilities throughout Colorado.
CRHC is a non-profit organization that serves as the State Office of Rural Health and has been serving the state of Colorado since 1991.
CRHC’s mission is to enhance healthcare services in Colorado by providing information, education, linkages, tools and energy toward addressing rural healthcare issues. By joining our dedicated team, you will be helping a diverse and inclusive statewide constituency of rural healthcare facilities and making an impact by improving access to quality healthcare in Colorado.
As one of our Quality Improvement Specialists, you will:
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver coaching and technical assistance for rural healthcare facilities through CRHC’s programs, grants, and fee-for-service activities.
- Apply your knowledge of quality improvement methods within the healthcare setting to assist rural facilities with understanding, interpreting, and implementing change; and identifying opportunities for learning and sharing lessons learned with other participating facilities as applicable.
- Function as a key member of the team, often serving as a mentor to other team members and assisting with refinement of existing programs and development of new programs. This includes applying content knowledge in the areas of chronic disease management; health information technology; coaching for organizational change; quality improvement data analysis skills; and training development and facilitation.
- Connecting and communicating with other related programs to ensure coordinated efforts and working with other team members to develop materials to educate and inform healthcare providers.
- Develop solid working relationships with the organization’s members and key stakeholders.
