Our sales team works with companies that provide products and services to the water sector that help to keep water safe and flowing to the taps of homes and businesses in North America and beyond.  As a Sales Operations Associate, you will assist in maximizing sales revenue by managing lead generation and qualification initiatives for the sales team while providing real-time support for customers. 

Essential Functions

  • Work with the sales representatives to create and implement targeted sales strategies.  
  • Work with the sales team on lead generation and qualification.
    • Make calls/send emails to follow-up with prospective clients to provide additional product/service information. 
  • Coordinate with other Sales Associate, Sales Advertising Coordinator and customer to collect all required advertising materials and process sales transactions in a timely manner. 
  • Create and execute customer contracts.
  • Moderate customer webinars. 
  • Provide support to the sales team by shepherding pending orders, customer requests, and providing AWWA customers with monthly activity reports.
  • Assist with sales renewal process. 
  • Help troubleshoot problems with customer orders, customer accounts and other related issues.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales organization, as required.

Qualifications

Education, Certifications or Formal Training:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ demonstrated experience in a sales support function or similar role.
  • Experience in a variety of the sales and marketing concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management software. 
  • Data analysis methods and the ability to interpret and analyze sales performance data & KPI’s. 
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Hands on experience with CRM systems – NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. 

Compensation/Benefits
Pay is dependent upon qualifications; Pay range is targeted between $24.91 – $28.47 per hour and is paired with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
