Otter Products is currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Insights to join our Innovation and Insights team! This role can work a hybrid in-office schedule in our Fort Collins, CO headquarters office or remotely anywhere in the US.
As the Sr. Manager, Insights you will lead a team of professionals focused on conducting, analyzing, and synthesizing primary (quantitative and qualitative) and secondary research to inform strategic direction for the business. You will determine the tactics and resources used by your team in the execution of strategic plans and projects necessary to achieve assigned objectives, within company policies and procedures. The Sr. Manager, Insights is responsible for managing their team's budget, participating in hiring, performance reviews, and the overall professional development, mentoring, and coaching of their direct reports to ensure the team is prepared to collaborate with business stakeholders in delivering insights to support business needs. Responsibilities

Apply in-depth understanding of our products, services, and strategy, as well as the competitive global markets, for both consumer and commercial, to develop data driven insights and recommendations.

Build strong cross-functional peer relationships to ensure insights are top of mind in decision making.

Lead team of analysts that focus on consumer, market, competitive, sales and marketing insights.

Own key strategic projects and bring data-driven insights from team together to create strategic recommendations and operational plans.

Train and guide analysts to work with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to convert data into insights.

Summarize and communicate analyses of the performance and progress of business programs/strategy.

Direct/Manage/Supervise multiple market research projects from the design and proposal stage through final report delivery.

Oversee the development of proposals including study design (e.g., sample/ weighting construction, questionnaire construction, analysis, reporting plans).

Guide team to integrate findings from research, data, reports, and competitive intelligence to develop actionable insights and business strategy recommendations.

Train team to interpret data and make recommendations in concise and easy to understand reports.

Manage team budget, ensure it is submitted accurately into database and that all dollars spent are being optimized.

Lead contractual negotiations with external partners, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with organizational standards, while overseeing adherence to all contractual obligations
- Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered. M.S. or Ph.D. in scientific/technical field, MBA, preferred
- Minimum of eight years of consumer insights or market research experience required
- Minimum two years in a manager role, or higher level, is required.
- Experience with global and B2B/commercial insights preferred.

USD $130,000.00/Yr.
For US Based Roles Only – Base Compensation Range Maximum
USD $170,000.00/Yr.
