Description
As a dedicated employee supporting the RE/MAX brand and reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Senior Marketing Specialist will work cross functionally to contribute toward the overarching recruiting and retention (R+R) strategies and lead the execution of marketing programs focused on growth.
This position will help align key cross-functional teams, such as region development, education, technology training, brand and social teams to ensure the recruiting and retention message aligns the brand’s marketing approach with broker/owners, agents and prospects. This role will help solidify the value prop broker/owners need for R+R and continually develop and refine marketing tools and resources for success.
The Senior Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Canadian marketing team for synergies and consistency across company-owned regions.
- Help develop and inform on the R+R marketing strategy; oversee execution of the strategy working closely with the Director of Marketing, VP of Marketing and other members of the executive leadership team.
- Influence behavioral change and understanding with internal teams and broker/owners that supports measurable growth of brokerages.
- Understand the challenges of broker/owners in their recruiting and retention efforts with discovery and driving effective marketing solutions – create and evolve resources and marketing materials as needed to best support broker/owners.
- Conduct network-facing discussions alongside franchise development to help determine what is working/not working for broker/owners, as well as resources made available to them or needed for continuous improvement.
- Create content and drive community engagement (in coordination with the social media and communications teams) for various Facebook groups and communication channels that support growth and actionable tips a broker/owner may consider in their R+R efforts.
- Support R+R events throughout the year developing content, resources and analyzing registrations/attendance; participate in sessions at RE/MAX events to help broker/owners understand the process of recruiting, how they can retain and the resources available to them.
- Help drive effective marketing and messaging for broker/owners to leverage with their team leaders, who in turn can use the materials and resources to help grow their teams.
- Oversee media and content related to R+R, as well as the join.remax.com strategy to ensure the marketing and website is positioned to support recruiting goals.
- Update and oversee the MAX/Recruit website to ensure all resources are updated. Analyze the resource usage to determine what is needed, not needed and key learnings.
- Work with third party media agency to strategize and execute ads across multiple mediums, report analytics monthly and adjust strategy and/or tactics as needed.
- Track KPIs and oversee budget; submit and approve invoices, adjust as needed to not exceed budget.
- Collaborate with RE/MAX Canada marketing team to ensure alignment in campaigns, initiatives, materials, comms, etc, but primary focus of this role is U.S. recruiting and retention.
- Other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned or needed by the business.

- Proficient use of various email marketing and communication platforms.
- Understanding of social media platforms.
- Excellent presentation skills are also critical for success.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in marketing, advertising, communications or equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing or communications
- Coaching or training experience a plus
- B2B experience preferred with a demonstrated ability to integrate various customer segments and experiences for marketing efficacy.
Hire Range/Rate:
$55,000 – $70,000
Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
