The Executive Director, Communications and Public Information Office is responsible for leading the development and execution of the Aims Community College marketing content, advertising, and promotional strategies, in alignment with the College’s strategic initiatives. This position provides leadership for the college’s public and media relations efforts, develops brand-marketing standards, and may serve as the key spokesperson for the college at the direction of the Vice President, Community & College Relations (VPCCR). The Executive Director collaborates with and supports all areas of the college, including the President, the Board of Trustees, the Community & College Relations division, all credit transfer and career programs, continuing education, student services, the Aims Foundation, information technology, and administrative services. The Executive Director will be responsible for tracking marketing return on investment and meeting or exceeding community expectations. This position will implement emergency notifications at the direction of the VPCCR and acts as backup as needed.
