Nature of Work:
Oversees all aspects of back of house duties, working directly with clients and vendors in the execution of events from client load-in, event duration, and load-out, in addition to assisting both front of house and booking teams to ensure client satisfaction for Paramount Theatre.
Examples of work performed:
- Advances all production aspects of events with local and/or touring personnel to ensure all needs are met. Includes, but is not limited to scheduling labor, arranging sound, lighting and power requirements, arranging meals for staff and tour personnel, managing allocated funds per event, coordinating parking.
- Advises promoters and/or touring personnel regarding economic solutions to help maximize revenue and reduce expenses.
- Prepare and submit detailed show expense estimates for budgeting and event settlements, as requested.
- Communicate performance-related and contract rider specifications to appropriate departments including but not limited to front of house, stage crew, piano tuner, projection, programs, maintenance, and box office.
- Prepare and submit detailed show related expense documentation for event settlements as requested.
- Plans and controls the budgets, expenses and petty cash related to events.
- Submits bills and reports to accounting for settlement.
- Timely distribution of Production Notes for upcoming events.
- Works closely with box office in advance and on event days to determine appropriate seating configuration and ADA compliance.
- Attends to requests and needs of promoter / tour manager / performer on event day.
- Acts as the main contact for back of house contractors: merchandise, stagehands, audio support, video support, caterers, equipment rental vendors, etc.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- General office equipment including copier, fax, phone, computer/keyboard, etc.
- General proficiency in various computer applications including spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail, Internet, etc., highly preferred.
- Two-way radio.
- Stand, walk up to ¾ of the time on an event day
- Medium to high stress situation ¼ of the time
- Fast-pace working environment ¾ of the time
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions up to ¼ of the time
- Moderate to very loud noises
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- BS/BA degree, preferred.
- One to two years’ experience working with box office personnel, event marketing personnel, event production, event accounting personnel and event operations personnel, preferred.

Compensation
- Base salary – $60,000-$64,000 per annum
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
