So let me get this straight:

Two Sprint employees (one who works a side-job as a security guard and the other an off-duty volunteer fire fighter) stopped a thief at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center and their reward from Sprint?

They got FIRED!

Westword has their unbelievable story right here and you can also support these two heros on their Facebook page here.

Note to Sprint – the no-tolerance policy for heroism has seriously got to be dropped.  You should have given these guys new cell phones and a lifetime supply of unlimited cell service.

Yeah, yeah, yeah…workplace safety, corporate policy, blah, blah, blah…but this didn’t even happen in a Sprint store for crying out loud.  Firing these guys is about as criminal as the shoplifter himself.

If you treat your employees this poorly I wonder how you treat your customers.
