LiveWell Colorado is a statewide nonprofit organization committed to preventing and reducing the barriers to healthy eating and active living in Colorado in communities that face inequity. With the goal of eliminating health disparities and advancing health equity, LiveWell Colorado focuses its efforts on policy and environmental changes that remove barriers and increase access to health. Working in partnership with obesity-prevention initiatives across the state, LiveWell Colorado aims to provide every Coloradan with access to healthy foods and opportunities for physical activity to make Colorado the healthiest state in the nation.

LiveWell Colorado is searching for a Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships.
Summary:
The Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships will play a key role in managing, sustaining, and expanding all development efforts for LiveWell Colorado. The Director will cultivate partnerships with a diverse portfolio of foundation, corporate and government entities, while embodying LiveWell’s commitment to inclusiveness. The Director will also provide primary support for the Board’s development efforts and assist with creation and support of volunteer opportunities. The position offers an exciting opportunity to play a critical, leadership role in an organization uniquely positioned to serve as a national model for engaging the business community, political and civic leadership and local communities in solving one of our nation’s most serious public health and economic development challenges: the obesity epidemic. LiveWell Colorado focuses on policy, environmental and lifestyle changes that remove barriers and increase access to healthy food and physical activity, particularly for Coloradans who face substantial economic and racial obstacles to health equity, and this person will play a leadership role in advancing LiveWell’s mission.
