Here's a summary of responsibilities:
The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Content Strategy Specialist to support the development and execution of engaging philanthropic content campaigns that align with our organization’s mission, values, and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Foundation’s (USOPF) objectives. This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, athletes, partners, and stakeholders to deliver successful content elements and programs that resonate with diverse audiences and drive engagement, brand, and philanthropic affinity.
 
Here’s how you ‘ll have an impact:
1.    Play a key role in executing philanthropic content campaigns across Team USA channels, ensuring their alignment with the USOPF’s goals, impact reporting, and the organization’s vision.
2.    Partner in the creation and implementation of strategic plans for philanthropic content initiatives with Associate Director, Content Strategy & Partnerships to ensure philanthropic opportunities are aligned with holistic strategic content approach.
3.    Work cross-functionally with the Philanthropic Brand Strategy Manager, Philanthropic Creative Design Specialist, and Brand & Fan Engagement team to build content plans and produce and publish across Team USA channels.
4.    Become an expert in the USOPF’s philanthropic objectives and goals and strategically integrate these priorities within Team USA’s content strategy and creation.
5.    Serve as a key liaison to internal teams, external vendors, and USOPF to streamline content workflow, problem-solve, and deliver successful content elements for philanthropic programs across a fan and donor journey on Team USA channels.
6.    Partner with Legal, Athlete Marketing, and Production teams to facilitate seamless collaboration on integrated content efforts.
7.    Contribute to the creation of various philanthropic content formats, including assisting with video production, content writing, social media content, and more.
8.    Leverage fan and donor research to inform content strategy and approach. Align with USOPF on key messages and themes to be activated through Team USA channels.
9.    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all philanthropic content maintains consistent quality, adheres to brand guidelines, and effectively communicates the organization’s values.
10.    Leverage analytics and performance metrics to evaluate the impact of philanthropic content campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
11.    Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving content consumption habits to inform content strategy decisions.
12.    Collaborate with USOPF, Finance team, and Brand & Fan Engagement team to manage budget allocation for philanthropic content projects effectively.
13.    Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field or equivalent work experience
•    3+ years of experience in content strategy, marketing, branded content, philanthropic content, or related roles, with exposure to philanthropic content development, campaign management, and client relations
•    Experience working with national non-profit organizations preferred
•    Strong affinity to Olympic and Paralympic values preferred
•    Demonstrable interest in and understanding of storytelling techniques and their emotional impact
•    Familiarity with digital content creation tools, multimedia formats, and social media platforms
•    Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
•    Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
•    Creative mindset with a passion for sports, culture, and the Olympic and Paralympic movements
•    Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
•    Ability to quickly build relationships and gain trust in virtual environments
•    Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Here are the tools, equipment, & conditions:
•    Standard office equipment
•    Office environment in a multi-story building on a multi-building site
•    Occasional domestic travel
•    Non-traditional hours often required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
•    Regular attendance at work is an essential job function

Remote and/or Hybrid in Colorado Springs Downtown Headquarters
 
Here's some more information you need to know:
•    Hiring pay range: $56,500 – $65,482 Per Year
•    This Full – Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
•    Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 10% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
