Director of Development

The Director, Development is a regular full-time position reporting directly to the CEO and works closely with the USA Volleyball Foundation (USAVF) Board of Directors. The incumbent works jointly with the USAVF Chair in carrying out the Foundation mission. In addition, the position is responsible for: leading philanthropic gifting for USA Volleyball; creating and delivering a comprehensive successful Development strategic plan; launching new fundraising events, programs, and campaigns and increasing engagement with current members, alumni, donors, and fans. The position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Extensive hours may be required to include, nights and weekends. Moderate travel is necessary.

The Broadmoor Human Resources Internship

Train on all duties pertaining to the Human Resources function. This includes but is not limited to recruitment, training, risk management, benefits, and employee relations. Intern may spend half of their internship in the training office and the other half in the employment office.

Membership and Annual Gifts Coordinator

This is a full-time benefitted position that supports the Development Department by fulfilling all fundraising programs, including membership renewals and batching for general operations, fundraising programs, restricted funds and grants. It requires a proficiency in donor database systems (Blackbaud’s Altru) to assist the Manager of Membership and Annual Gifts in pulling accurate reports, noting donor recognition and creating mailing lists for the Development Department. As a voice of the Zoo, this position must carry out excellent customer service and maintain professional working relationships internally. This position also requires a team player! It is non-supervisory in nature.

Community Health Educator

Essential Job Functions
Assesses community needs, develops educational approaches to address early childhood obesity prevention and is a resource on assigned topics in El Paso County. The Community Health Educator will work on a variety of topics that focus on reducing obesity in children from birth to five years of age, including breastfeeding, healthy eating active living, integrated physical activity in the child care setting, and policy initiatives. Deals with a diverse group of community partners, external callers, and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

You will also develop strong relationships with supported business functions and assist in determining HR (human resources) priorities consistent with business objectives.

Community Partnership Coordinator

As a key member of the Communications department, the Community Partnership Coordinator oversees the development, coordination, and evaluation of strategic community partnerships and outreach opportunities for Pikes Peak Library District. Taking a county-wide approach to community engagement, this position works closely with internal and external stakeholders to expand the community’s awareness, understanding, and use of our library branches, services, programs, and other resources.
