Chief Communications and Development Officer

The Chief Communications and Development Officer is responsible for cultivating, developing and managing audience engagement to advance the missions of USADA and TrueSport in order to grow the culture of Clean Sport through character, sportsmanship and healthy competition. As the organizational leader in communications, public relations, media relations, athlete education and the TrueSport program, this role is responsible for the management of all communication strategies, outreach programs and educational efforts to reach a wide array of audiences. The Chief Communications and Development Officer provides exceptional organizational leadership, through strategic vision, fundraising initiatives and relationship management plans designed to influence specific groups, including athletes, coaches, parents, support personnel, sport leaders and media influencers.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The City’s Human Resources department includes the functional areas of recruiting, benefit program administration, performance management, compliance, employee relations, safety, workers’ compensation and liability claims administration, occupational health clinic, employee medical clinic, and employee pharmacy. The intern will provide support to different areas within HR, should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and must be able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
You will work 20-25 hours per week during the normal work week of Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
