Press Officer

The Press Officer serves as the day-to-day communications contact for internally-managed NGBs (i.e. Paralympic sports that are managed directly by the USOPC). The Press Officer also contributes to the overall Paralympics communications strategy and the USOPC’s communications strategy more generally.

The President and CEO of the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region provides the executive leadership for the Board of Directors, leading the development of strategic directions and policy in the fulfillment of the organization’s mission. The position provides significant leadership in securing the operating funds necessary to sustain current and future operations. The President and CEO is responsible for the overall management and operation of HSPPR in compliance with Board-adopted policies and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and laws.

Behavioral Health Clinician

SCOPE:

The Behavioral Health Clinician will provide clinical behavioral health support and case management to highly-vulnerable individuals and families experiencing homelessness in in-person, group, and telehealth settings across Northern Colorado, the Denver/Metropolitan area, and Southern Colorado. This position will be integrated into Rapid Rehousing care teams charged with stabilizing program participants in safe, permanent housing, and will collaborate with program personnel across the state to ensure sufficient access and connection to behavioral health supports for program participants. Populations of focus may include individuals and families experiencing homelessness, justice-involved individuals, low-income households, and others as assigned.

Program Coordinator Mentor2.0 – Pikes Peak Office

Main Responsibilities:
Provide high quality support to 50-70 mentee-mentor pairs. This may include but not limited to:
• Providing individualized case management support for mentees and mentors to build strong mentoring relationships, including required documentation and surveys. Proactively assisting match relationships through regular communication (phone, email and in-person).
• Tracking mentor and mentee participation on platform including event RSVPs and attendance, emailing newsletter and managing other correspondence with mentors.
• Using curriculum, class sessions, and events to encourage supportive and thoughtful conversations between pairs to develop the mentoring relationship.
• Matching mentors and mentees at the beginning of the school year and as new students are added.

Ensure high quality curricular engagement. This may include but is not limited to:
• Teaching multiple classroom sessions per week (2-4) for mentees at partner school, which includes preparation and planning, being responsible for classroom behavior management, building relationships with school staff.
• Ensuring mentees and mentors exchange quality curriculum related correspondence on a weekly basis via the technology platform.
• Planning, facilitating, and managing monthly in-person evening events at the school site and collaborating with team at other events as needed. (70 to 100 pairs per event)

Participate actively and positively as a mentor2.0 team member. This may include but not limited to:
• Planning and designing innovations as we continue to grow the program.
• Collaborating with team members to problem solve challenges as they arise.
• Participating in meetings, supervision, projects and events that support the mentor2.0 program. Additional support including volunteer trainings, and interviews.
• Conducting weekly Volunteer Orientations.
• Active involvement in volunteer recruitment efforts and networking opportunities.

Development Assistant

Assistant position in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. This position is primarily responsible for supporting the Development Department in all areas as needed, including providing both administrative and event support. This position is non-supervisory in nature. Adheres to and supports all organizational policies and procedures and standards. Has a positive attitude and promotes teamwork!
