Summary

The Manager of Talent Acquisition will play a critical role in ensuring that we are bringing in the strongest candidates to join our team. This team member will work closely with the rest of the Talent Acquisition Team to support creative recruitment efforts, oversee effective hiring processes, and utilize data.

OVERVIEW OF POSITION

The Manager of Talent Acquisition will play a critical role in ensuring that we are bringing in the strongest candidates to join our team. This team member will work closely with the rest of the Talent Acquisition Team to support creative recruitment efforts, oversee effective hiring processes, and utilize data.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Recruitment (10%)

  • Support talent recruitment by: participating in recruitment events and career fairs, posting jobs and creating marketing campaigns, cultivating candidates through phone and in-person meetings, and other strategies as designated by the team.

Talent Evaluation/Hiring (90%)

  • Set and execute on the vision and strategy for school-based hiring annually.

  • Serve as a strategic hiring partner for a portfolio of schools and school-based leaders.

  • Conduct application review, phone interviews, and support the hiring processes for a portfolio of positions.

  • Create, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of hiring systems and hiring data acquisition.

  • Conduct data analysis for targeted intervention to ensure the team meets all pre-determined hiring goals.

  • Work as a strategic partner with partner organizations that support hiring processes.

Additional Duties

As a member of the Home Office Team, you will participate in and support in the execution of:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

  • At least 2 years of K-12 teaching experience OR 2 years experience in education related talent acquisition

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, learns quickly and is eager to serve our staff

  • An unwavering belief that all students can succeed in high school, reach their most ambitious post-secondary goals, and lead exemplary lives

  • Desire to personally professionally grow in their practice of becoming an anti-racist educator

  • Self-awareness, a regular practice of reflection, and a desire to continuously improve

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven commitment to and experience with serving students of color, students with disabilities, and/or multilingual students
