The Temporary Development Assistant for Community Foundation Boulder County is an integral part of the development team. This temporary, part-time position supports the team by managing essential administrative and data-related tasks that ensure the smooth and effective operation of the foundation’s fundraising efforts.

Since 1991, Community Foundation Boulder County has worked with donors, nonprofits, civic leaders, and community members to meet the evolving needs of the Boulder County community. We nurture and activate the ideas, generosity, and leadership of the community to galvanize resources and support equitable solutions for all who live/work in Boulder County. The foundation has given out over $175 million since 2001.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all gift entry into the foundation’s CRM/accounting database (AkoyaGO)
  • Manage the generation and distribution of thank-you letters and tax receipts for all donations
  • Enter manual grants and interfund requests from Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
  • Maintain accurate donor records and ensure data integrity within the CRM
  • Support the development team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed

Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent experience
  • 1 year experience in a nonprofit role, or equivalent administrative or client facing experience
  • Proficiency with working with databases and tools, excel, word
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Compensation
This is a part-time, temporary position at 20 hours per week. Compensation is $20-$30 per hour commensurate with experience.
This is a hybrid position, but in office at least 50% of the time. Duration is 4 months.
