Position Summary:
The IT Manager provides organizational leadership for all information systems, technology infrastructure, and IT operations across Mile High Early Learning’s (MHEL) span of services. This position ensures that systems support staff rather than systems driving the organization. The IT Manager is the primary contact for external vendors contracted for IT services.

Essential?Job Functions:
- Ensure that IT systems and technology support staff in meeting their job responsibilities and the organization in fulfilling its mission—ensure all children thrive by cultivating every child's potential, engaging families, and championing our early learning workforce.
- Strategic Planning – Develop and implement the MHEL IT Strategic Plan in coordination with leadership to align with MHEL’s mission and annual goals.
- Leadership – Lead strategic planning process including budget development and evaluate regularly for continuous quality improvement and to course correct as needed.
- Manage Projects End-to-End – Work closely with staff to accomplish established organizational goals and document processes and policies along the way. Assist with and manage projects as articulated through MHEL’s IT Strategic Plan.
- Staff training – Maintain knowledge of current technology and trends and grow staff competency with technology tools through training.
- Manage vendors – Responsible for Managed Services Provider, ISP, VOIP, Cell Phone, Printer, Security Systems, and Data Warehousing and Automation vendors
- Device Management – Oversee Intune management platform (PCs, iPads, cellphones) and assist staff as requested.
- Cybersecurity – Manage cybersecurity protection policies and implementations such as application upgrades, data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Monitor regular EDR reports.
- Manage and Monitor Key Issues – Monitor staff requests for IT assistance via help system; analyze nature and number of incidents; identify and provide recommendations for permanent solution to address chronic issues; and recommend procedure modifications or improvements as needed. #ID23
Requirements
Required Position Qualifications / Certificates / Licenses:
- At least 5 years of IT experience
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Ability to translate organizational needs into technology solutions
- Experience managing IT projects and supporting staff needs
- Ability to work in the office in a hybrid environment (no remote candidate considered)
- Driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Use of personal vehicle for work; mileage reimbursement provided
- Significant experience working with third party vendors
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Conduct activities involving standing, walking and a majority of sitting?
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull a burden weighing up to?50lbs
- Understand and manipulate office equipment and similar other tools and materials.
- Work with hands above shoulder height with a weight up to 20lbs
- Work with arms extended at shoulder height with a weight up to 20lbs
- Participate in routine conversation in person or via telephone and distinguish telephone, radio/pager signals,?alarms,?and other auditory tones.
Desired Qualifications / Skills / Licenses / Certifications:
- 2-year or 4-year degree in information technology or related field
- Experience administering software licenses and renewals
- Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) administration experience
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric or other data platform
- Configuration and management of mobile devices
- Experience with cloud VOIP systems
Salary Description
$70,000 to $85,000
