Job Title: Workforce Development Coordinator
Reports to: Vice President, Colorado Restaurant Foundation
Job Type: Full-Time, Grant Funded for 14 months
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid with statewide travel)

Position Summary
The Workforce Development Coordinator supports the implementation and expansion of Colorado Restaurant Foundation (CRF) workforce programs while contributing to the development of career pathway resources and training frameworks.
This role blends program coordination with research, analysis, and content development. The Coordinator will manage day-to-day operations of the CRF apprenticeship program and, with direction from the Vice President, develop key components of new tools and training programs that support individuals in advancing within hospitality careers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Workforce Program Coordination
- Coordinate intake, onboarding, site visits, and ongoing engagement with participants and employers.
- Manage ongoing communication with participants and employers regarding program expectations, progress, and support resources
- Monitor and track participant milestones, outcomes, and completion benchmarks
- Support and execute orientations, trainings, and program events
- Ensure consistent and high-quality participant and employer experience across programs
- Maintain accurate participant and employer data within Salesforce and related systems
- Support tracking of program outcomes and performance metrics; assist with data collection and reporting requirements
2. Training Frameworks & Content Development
- With guidance from Vice President, research industry-relevant skills, competencies, role expectations, and career progression pathways within hospitality
- Coordinate focus groups with employers and employees to validate findings
- Create skills taxonomies for defined roles, map required skills and competencies across roles and levels, and work with Vice President to translate deliverables into training exercises
- Identify ways to align new tools with existing training materials; work with Vice President to make improvements
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education and Experience
- 1-5 years of experience in workforce development, education, nonprofit operations, hospitality, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree
- Experience supporting training programs, career pathway initiatives, or apprenticeship programs preferred
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organization and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
- Demonstrated ability to follow through and follow up with multiple stakeholders while working independently
- Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize information into clear, actionable content
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to clarity and structure
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with employers, educators, and program participants
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce preferred
- Comfort working with data tracking, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
- Comfort working with AI tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in evolving program environments
Other Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout Colorado for employer visits and program activities
- Occasional evening or weekend events
