The position works as a part of the People and Culture Team to grow the volunteer programs in support of overall volunteer engagement at Habitat Metro Denver. The Volunteer Manager also works closely with Construction and ReStore departments to identify opportunities and create a positive and productive environment for volunteers.

The Community Engagement and Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the recovery journey of Sage Ridge residents by building and maintaining relationships with community partners, coordinating meaningful volunteer opportunities, and organizing on-campus and off-site events. This position bridges the campus with the broader community to enhance resident experience, recovery resources, and community awareness.
Develops, coordinates and manages initiatives designed to promote and represent the organization and brand the community. Develops and administers outreach programs to engage, support, and collaborate with the community. Responsible to create new and cultivate existing relationships which benefit the organizations’ operations and reputation. Serves as the organization’s liaison with various nonprofit and community service constituents and stakeholders.
This role facilitates educational workshops, represents Judi’s House at outreach events, strengthens relationships with community organizations, and supports initiatives that advance the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate is an engaging presenter, skilled relationship builder, and organized project coordinator with a passion for serving bereaved children, families, and communities.
