The public information officer for citizen engagement handles all incoming concerns from resident that are directly related to the City Manager’s Office and City Council. Council members call upon this position to handle requests for service from their constituents.
This position is responsible for the university’s non-curricular content and messaging including the management of staff in the areas of internal communications, stakeholder communications, community engagement, social media, website, blog, and other marketing support services as appropriate. The Colorado Department of Human Services, The Communications Unit is responsible for developing and executing the department-wide strategic communication plan and develops tools and strategies to communicate with CDHS clients, constituents, stakeholders, partners, and staff, as well as members of the media and public.
Work closely with the marketing team to achieve social media goals of growing our community, continuing high levels of engagement and increasing ad conversion rates. Let’s milk these opportunities.
