This position is responsible for providing generalist-level support for a variety of human resource functions in the areas of recruiting/staffing, employee relations, leaves of absence, training, employee development, performance management, policy and procedure interpretation and compensation. Work is sensitive and highly confidential. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least two years of true HR Generalist experience, including solid experience in recruitment, experience with conducting employee relations and an understanding of FMLA and processing leaves of absence. In addition to serving as a designated HR partner to assigned County Departments this position is expected to have a focus on supporting the recruitment process for all County Departments (with the exception of the Sheriffs Office).
