The Program Manager will lead and manage culturally responsive outdoor education programs in collaboration with Vive Wellness as part of the Belonging Colorado Grant program funding this position. This position will focus on expanding access to outdoor recreation through programs that integrate cultural competency, justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (DEI-B) principles, and health and wellness initiatives.
Reporting to the Parks and Recreation Director, the Deputy Director of Land Management oversees Parks, Forestry, Cemetery, and Facility operations. This role provides leadership, coordinates workgroups, addresses daily operations, and supports staff development. It assists with planning, workflow, and organizational initiatives. One of two deputies, this position may act as Director in their absence.
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and flexible individual to coordinate the logistical planning aspects and deliverables for small to mid-size in-person and digital education events throughout the State of Colorado (and online), such as regional committee meetings, internal company events, and external one/multi-day Conference events with up to 1,000 attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and other stakeholders.
