Chief Marketing Officer

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for developing communications and marketing strategies, programs and partnerships that promote and raise the global visibility of Colorado School of Mines. The CMO will provide management and leadership to the University’s Office of Communications and Marketing. The position will also provide strategic leadership for integrating the efforts of the extended team of communications and marketing professionals across the university, including undergraduate and graduate admissions, to ensure university goals and priorities are achieved. The position will report to the President’s Office Chief of Staff, but will work closely and directly with the President and other senior leadership.

Develop, execute and measure global marketing communications strategies for key CoorsTek business segments in alignment with overall commercial strategy.

Director of Children, Youth, Families and Adult Protective Services

The Director of CYFAP will be responsible for:
Guiding the execution of the strategic vision and practice model for the Children, Youth, Families & Adult Protection Division in partnership with the Human Services department, using ongoing continuous quality improvement methods and performance measurement so the children, youth, families and adults needing protection services in our community thrive.
Enhancing an employee culture of learning, development, responsibility and achievement.
Ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of the division’s business processes, budget development and have overall fiscal oversight of a variety of county, state and federal funding.
Forging new partnerships by working collaboratively with customers, community, state and national partnering agencies to lead innovations to transform practice, program and services in a collaborative and integrated manner.
Interpreting current and proposed State and Federal legislation and rules related to child and adult protection to make recommendations to the director.
Conferring with County Attorney on implementation of legislation, court processes, employee relations and rules and regulations.
Representing the division on interagency, multi-disciplinary boards and statewide committees.

Academic Operations Manager – Process Improvement and Space Management

The Academic Operations Manager – Process Improvement and Space Management, is a critical member of Academic Affairs Shared Services team reporting directly to the Director of Academic Affairs Operations. The Academic Operations Manager works closely with the Director of Academic Affairs Operations and the Provost’s Executive Team, particularly the Associate Provost for Operations, to provide primary support, guidance, and coordination for improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices that ensure organizational well-being. In working closely with the Director of Academic Affairs Operations, Academic Operations Manager (HR & Communications), and the Data Lead for Academic Affairs, this position ensures that every department in Academic Affairs receives the same level of support and communication in terms of operational processes and procedures relevant to the department such as promotion & tenure, faculty evaluations, staff evaluations, sabbatical requests/reports, etc. This position is also the primary manager of space related to departments reporting up through Academic Affairs on campus, working with departments, Office of Design and Construction, the Trefny Institute, etc. to ensure that space data is current and accurate, and to provide the Provost’s Executive Team with relevant information, options, and constraints related to space deployment and space needs across Academic Affairs. This position requires critical and strategic thinking, excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective and collaborative interpersonal skills, the ability to work well with a diverse population and various constituencies, independent problem-solving abilities, detail-orientation, initiative, and the ability to manage simultaneous projects, balancing differing needs and priorities.
