JOB SUMMARY: The Denver Broncos Football Club is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the organization’s technology strategy and operations, and technological innovation efforts. This senior executive role requires a dynamic leader with over 15 years of experience in technology leadership, strategy, and execution. The CTO will oversee all aspects of technology infrastructure, and digital transformation, as well as data-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Denver Broncos’ mission and core values: Growth and Innovation Mindset, Grit and Resiliency, Strive for Excellence, Do the Right Thing, and Accountability and Financial Discipline.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technology Vision & Leadership
- Develop and execute a forward-looking technology strategy that drives organizational success and positions the Broncos as an industry leader in innovation and fan engagement.
- Align all technology initiatives with organizational objectives and the Denver Broncos’ core values.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing insights on emerging technologies and trends.
- Infrastructure Design & Integration
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure, networking, and enterprise systems to ensure robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Lead the deployment of advanced connectivity solutions, including Wi-Fi, 5G, and IoT devices, to support operations and enhance the overall experience.
- Digital Transformation and AI Integration
- Spearhead the adoption of AI-driven solutions to optimize processes, enhance decision-making, and deliver personalized user experiences.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across departments to streamline operations and improve organizational efficiency.
- Operational Excellence and Data Driven Decision Making
- Leverage data platforms and analytics to deliver actionable insights that improve business performance and user engagement.
- Implement innovative technologies to enhance operational workflows and support organizational growth.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; master’s degree strongly preferred.
Experience
- 15+ years of progressive leadership roles, with significant experience managing large-scale infrastructure and digital transformation projects.
- Proven track record of leading technology innovation in sports, entertainment, or related industries.
- Experience building and managing high-performing, cross-functional teams.

- Point of Sale Systems: Experience integrating and optimizing POS systems to support operational efficiency and enhance guest transactions.
- Digital Out-of-Home Advertising Technology: Proficient in managing digital advertising platforms, including signage and programmatic solutions, to increase revenue opportunities.
- Employee Technology: Strong focus on improving employee productivity and experience through innovative workplace tools and systems.
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $310,000 – $365,000. Salary based on assessment of qualifications.
