The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.
The Content Marketing Specialist (CMS) is responsible for creating, designing, and collaboratively assisting in the creative needs of Learning and development and Equity and Administration. The CMS drives internal promotion of L&D, DEI, and equity initiatives that support maintaining an exceptional employee experience. The CMS designs, implements, and conducts training for learners to use the Learning Management System (LMS), SharePoint, Teams, etc., to assist with employee development, growth, and performance management. Essential Job Functions

- Designs marketing, communication, and promotion for departments across the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless Organization for Equity and Administration, Learning and Development, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion departments.
- Utilize strong oral, written, and visual communication skills; create, edit, and post content for diverse internal and external audiences.
- Develop effective marketing and promotional channels to relay time-sensitive information to employees and clients.
- Support departments' goals and objectives by creating newsletters, updates, forms, surveys, etc.
- Drive strategy, build, manage, and optimize sizable media campaigns across departments.
- Conducts outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in events planning, advertising, and content development.
- Design visually appealing content for meetings, digital platforms, SharePoint, etc.
- Develop results-focused marketing and communication concepts to support the engagement of employees.
- Provide photographer support for small events/meetings, Employee Orientation, Leadership training, and mentoring programs.
- Collaboratively support the administrative and operational needs for live events or training.
- Coordinates communication needs of speakers, trainers, mentors, and guests in organizational calendars and invitations.
- Create marketing materials, manage channels, and strategically position L&D initiatives to align with business goals.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Graphic design and editing skills.
- Ability to design and implement effective marketing and communication materials
- Associates, Bachelor’s Degree or Certification(s) in Marketing, Communications, a related field: Multi-Media, Digital Design, or equivalent professional experience
- Two years of experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, photography, video editing, social media management, and storytelling.
- Two years of marketing copy, advertisement, blog posts, digital publishing, social media, podcast, or production.
- Knowledgeable in multimedia, various digital platforms, photography, and editing.

$65,000 – $80,000 a year
