Supplemental Pay: Based on position, schedule and/or availability: Eligible for a performance based incentive compensation plan 

Mileage and Expense Reimbursement: Sixty-two and a half cents per mile – one of the highest in the industry!

REWARDING WORK YOU WILL DO:

Implements marketing and sales strategies to build and enhance community awareness of hospice and palliative services.  Develops marketing campaigns to enhance the hospice/palliative programs.  Utilizes effective public relations communication strategies.  Obtains new working relationships and contracts to the extent necessary to achieve referral metrics that have been established.

  • Researches, evaluates and develops strategies and plans for new business development opportunities that drive the organization’s overall growth strategy and evolution in the care continuum.  Designs and implements growth campaigns and collaborates on tool to build brand awareness.
  • Develops marketing campaigns to enhance the hospice/palliative programs.  Utilizes effective public relations communication strategies.  Obtains new working relationships and contracts to the extent necessary to achieve referral metrics that have been established.

  • Maintains knowledge and utilizes marketing trends, developments and best practices.
  • Provides input of the development and oversight of customer relationship management.
  • Assists with education production and the development of all collateral materials.
  • Serves as the hospice representative and attends community events, trade shows and other public events.
  • Builds and manages professional relationships with current and potential referral sources.
  • Assists management in addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Measures and reports on business results.
  • Identifies areas for process improvement i.e. product/project management.
  • Provides oversight and management of all facility contracts.
  • Establishes and implements short and long range goals, objectives, policies, and infrastructure for key areas.  
  • Collaborates with senior management on negotiation of contracts.  Oversees enforcement and communication regarding contracts while maintaining productive. relationships with provider networks, health plans, hospitals, nursing homes, and other programs.  Develops relationships with payers.

WHAT WE ARE GOING TO LOVE ABOUT YOU:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, business administration healthcare or related field.  Master’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • Minimum Experience:  Five (5) years’ experience in health care marketing.  Previous supervisory experience required.  Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered.
  • Required License:  Colorado state driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 30 lbs.

The Denver Hospice is affiliated with Care Synergy, a nonprofit network of community-based hospice and palliative care organizations serving Colorado’s Front Range and the Region’s Largest Home Health, Hospice, and Palliative Care Network. Care Synergy provides mission support services to better equip The Denver Hospice to operate as a distinct and independent organization while working together to share best practices and serve more Coloradans along the Front Range.
