Summary

The director of client services is responsible for big-picture strategy, planning and program execution, as well as the day-to-day management of client relationships. The director will proactively steward and advise clients toward achieving agreed upon goals and objectives.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Onboard dedicated new clients and be familiar with agreed upon scope of services.
  • Research the client’s organization, industry and competitive landscape.
  • Provide a seamless client experience and ensure the success of designated client programs based on client goals, objectives, tactics and budget.
  • Work closely with dedicated team members to prepare for and lead client meetings.
  • Exhibit a clear demonstration of proactive ways dovetail can bring value to each client.
  • Strategically manage client deliverables efficiently and effectively.
  • Use company provided tools/platforms to track, update and manage programs effectively.
  • Approve final drafts of content (press releases, blog posts, social media, articles, ad copy, email campaigns, etc.) prior to client delivery.
  • Lead direct reports in a clear and consistent manner and support their growth.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership to ensure the firm’s success and strategic goals are well supported.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with clients and all team members.
  • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled internal meetings.
  • Support firm marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Professionally represent dovetail solutions and be a brand ambassador, attend sponsored events and Strategic Community Investment opportunities.
  • Understand, live by and share dovetail solutions core values.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in marketing, public relations, communications, or business.
  • 5-8 years in public relations (in-house experience a plus), or related industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Mac systems, virtual and Google applications.
  • Extensive practical use and application of AP-style writing.
  • Proficient with MuckRack, Harvest, Dropbox, Asana platforms a plus.

Pay range typically is $70k-$90k per year.
